This award helps to boost awareness of yoga and hopefully get more people to try it!

With an “Olympic” theme for the night, Chamber of Commerce members from Kanata, Stittsville, Goulbourn and West Carleton celebrated the People’s Choice Awards at the Brookstreet Hotel, on Feb 25th.  It was so exciting having Yoga & Tea Studio be nominated in two categories: “Health & Wellness Business of the Year” and “Small Business of the Year” for West Carleton. 

 Carp really represents! Greg Leblanc, who owns the property where the studio operates, won “Citizen of the Year!”, now how cool is that?!?!

It was an entertaining evening and a great opportunity to network within the business community.

I’m looking forward to taking my Laughter Yoga training this weekend. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this style of yoga, Laughter Yoga involves different postures that incorporate laugther.
